The Role

• Produce communications for sustainability promotion and reporting purposes, designing and structuring information and facts, applying creative and innovative principles to influence and engage. • Deliver professional expertise with investigative and service methodologies, make recommendations, identify priorities and set energy andcarbon reduction targets to achieve business outcomes and objectives. • Maintain an oversight of the service and performance metrics to provide sustainability reports for higher level managers and committees. • Coordinate all aspects of energy, carbon waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy. • Represent the service and University at sustainability promotional events. • Develop external relations, identify and develop opportunities for communities of practice, employers, alumni and donors via extra-curricular activities and increased levels of participation. • Develop, produce and interpret appropriate KPIs and benchmarking data. • Any other reasonable duties. Specific role requirements: • May be required to work evenings and weekends, as business demands. • There may be a requirement for the post-holder to participate in local on-call arrangements, as relevant to this role. • Attend all training and development, as required.
