1. 2020 Autumn IBelongMagazine

Today’s generation faces quite the hassle. I say that because there is a pandemic that is deadly. It’s quite sad. You can’t see family members during this time, and you can’t travel very far either. This is by far the first time I’ve experienced anything this huge. The pandemic is really dangerous to the elderly and to newborn babies. The world-wide issue has affected me by not being able to see family without wearing a face mask. The one thing that has caught my eye was the further we had gotten into 2020 the more severe the pandemic became. The main effect on me was I have to be careful of my grandmother because it could have a greater effect on her than me. It would hurt to see my grandmother with the virus so I do my best to watch out for her. Now, before the year 2020 had come I was looking forward to the New Year. The pandemic wasn’t as severe as it is now, but the news and Instagram caught me by surprise. It caught me by surprise because COVID- 19 was being bold around social media. As the weeks turned into months, it struck the world by surprise—the one and only surprise we all haven’t been looking forward to.
