Wendy Hobbins McGrath, Ph.D . + In the age of the global pandemic, our students received “mindfulness” classes. When their traditional academic institutions closed, our students wanted to have some peace in a time of uncertainty. Wendy stepped up and stepped in with her virtual classes three days a week.
Students said , “I feel relaxed; peaceful; my first time; something I can give to myself when feeling down; I shared with my parents, and they liked it, too!”
When our summer students said, “This remote learning is hard, and we are confused about the future,” Wendy came to the rescue! Mindfulness, some yoga, and “peace time” was the solution .
