professional members, APEGA is the largest organization of self-regulated professionals in Western Canada. APEGA geoscience in Alberta on behalf of the Government of Alberta. In existence since 1920 and empowered by the Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act, APEGA registers and licences engineers, geoscientists, and the companies they practise with.
