“ Management Address ” is not included (This is an optional TLV. For an explanation, see What is an optional TLV below.) What is an optional TLV TLV is an acronym for Type Length Value. An LLDP frame can contain multiple pieces of information. Each of these pieces of information is known as TLV. An LLDP frame contains multiple TLVs. Optional TLVs are configurable; they can be enabled or disabled. If an optional TLV is disabled the corresponding information is not included in the LLDP frame.
