What I did: •
Deliveries: Every time a guest buys a car, new or used, I meet up with them after they’re finished with the sales advisor. I explain to the guest how the vehicle operates: features and gadgets. So, by the time the guest leaves, they feel satisfied knowing how to work their brand-new car. • Completing Disclosures: This is the gathering of necessary documents we need in order to sell the car on our lot. • Transporting Inventory: Myself and another one of my coworkers go to different Bergstrom Dealerships to pick up vehicles for our sales advisors to show to our guests. Or we pick up cars to add to our lot inventory. • Lot Organizer: Throughout each day, the cars in our lot get moved around and parked elsewhere causing the lots to look empty, unattractive and disorganized to the eye. Therefore, at the end of each day, I park all the “miss-parked” cars in their needed spot, so by the time we clock out, our lot looks professional and appealing to our guests. What I liked: I like the pace that comes with this job: Fast. Additionally, the fact that every day isn’t like the rest, is another aspect of the job I really like. Lastly, I’d like to work in a sales-type job after I graduate, so being able to firsthand experience what sales is like, is awesome! It’s giving me an idea of what the responsibilities are for a sales job, therefore when I get a sales job after I graduate, I’ll be ready for the challenges I’ll face. Future Dream Job: When it comes to my dream job, I’d like to own my own business. I’m not sure what exactly I want to open, but with time, I’ll get more of an idea. But being able to open a business and controlling what products I’m selling is my goal. I’d like to be financially free well before 65, therefore, with this goal in mind, I’ll be able to be there for my family and kids without having work to worry about.
