What I did: A normal day at work, I help visitors, members and community that reach out to us via email, in office or phone. Visitors request information about the county and things to do. Members are businesses around Langlade County that are a part of the chamber. I help them with advertisement, sharing information out to the public and giving them support. The community of Langlade County reaches out for chamber gift certificate, Langlade County information, work permits, etc. We also host many events throughout the year that I had the opportunity to help with all summer events. What I liked: My favorite event was where the photo was taken – Customer Appreciation Day. This event is held to show thanks to the community and chamber members. There is food, ice cream, band, bounce house, and more that is offered for people to come and have fun. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to manage an ice rink. I have been figure skating for 11 years and been a professional figure skating coach for six years. I would love to manage a rink and have programs held there for figure skating and other ice sports as well. I believe having my business background in school and this internship will help me to be successful in future years working towards managing a rink.
