What I did: • Ordered office supplies, stationary items, marketing materials, and promotional/advertising items • Maintained refreshments and lobby area cleanliness • Managed social media advertising and posts (Facebook and LinkedIn) • Maintained advisor’s website • Managed client appreciation gifts, cards, and ecards for special events • Managed advisor’s gift log for compliance purposes • Communicated via telephone and/or email to schedule meetings as directed by advisor. Confirmed appointments by telephone and/or email. Requested documentation from clients as needed • Created reporting for scheduling client reviews. Distributed those notices, followed up on those notices, and created the record of those notices in CRM software • Maintained current team photographs and organized an outing to take new professional photos • Conducted receptionist duties – answered the main telephone, greeted clients upon arrival, etc. • Retrieved, sorted, and distributed mail • Began the creation of a DBA between two Wealth Management advisors • Completed my health and life insurance licenses • Learned insurance procedures and processes such as updating beneficiaries, processing insurance service account payments and surpluses, etc. What I liked: I liked interacting with clients and coworkers and the atmosphere I worked in. The variety of duties I was assigned and the multiple opportunities for me to learn something new was truly enjoyable. Future Dream Job: My dream job is a marketing manager. In general, I would love to be challenged and learn something new every day.
