Member Service Representative
What I did: I completed transactions involving cash, checks, credit cards, loans and different accounts within the credit union. I needed to call different financial institutions and verify funds as well as make informed decisions on the transactions I processed. I taught people about the different types of accounts that we offer as well as recommended the best fit for them. I helped communicate within the credit union of different members’ needs and what we should do to better suit them. I played a role as a team player within my section of the credit union in that all of the MSRs worked together to get everyone what they needed. What I liked: I liked to make relationships with all the members of Simplicity Credit Union. I also liked getting to learn more about different jobs within a credit union setting as well as learning more about different things in the financial world. I have entered a big family at Simplicity as well which is amazing to have that at my place of employment.
Future Dream Job: My dream job is an accountant at Sentry Insurance.
