What I did: During my internship, I was able to review various insured accounts for Church Mutual and decide what changes to policies we needed to make. I got to work with seasoned underwriters as well as account managers, processors, and many other people involved in the process. In addition to these tasks, I was also able to research an emerging risk to the underwriting department and give a presentation on why it was a risk to our business. What I liked: I really enjoyed being able to complete my renewals in a task format. I enjoy checking things off a list, so being able to complete renewals gave me a feeling of accomplishment. I also enjoyed getting to know all of my coworkers. Everyone at Church Mutual was willing to help me advance in any way I needed. The atmosphere at Church Mutual can be felt even through the screen.
Future Dream Job: I do not have a specific dream job, but I would love to never get bored at work. As long as I love what I do every day and always have something new to work on I will be happy.
