2025 Uniformity Catalog: Forged As One

REPAIR OR RECYCLE

Your uniform is a key part of our unified, professional image, but even the best garments have their limits. Here’s how to decide whether to patch things up or pass them on.

> REPAIR: Stained Collar: Treat collar stains with shampoo before washing, and prevent future stains by wearing your uniform only once between washes. Stains Under the Arm: Dissolve a few denture-cleaning tablets in warm water, or use OxiClean to tackle stubborn underarm stains. Missing Buttons: Sometimes, a quick repair is all it takes to keep your uniform looking sharp. Grab a needle and thread to replace missing buttons. > EXCHANGE OR RECYCLE: Frayed Collar: Replacing a collar is rarely worth the effort. Consider trading up for a fresh start instead. Frayed Cuffs: Repairing cuffs can often cost as much as a new shirt. Save yourself the hassle and go for the upgrade. Faded Color: If your Averitt red is starting to look more like pink, it’s time for an upgrade. A bold, bright uniform makes a professional impression.

See page 42 to learn how you can give your old Averitt shirts a second life through our recycling program.
