2025 Uniformity Catalog: Forged As One

When Tatyanna Pollard started with our team in 2019, she was looking primarily for a local driving position. She wasn’t necessarily expecting to find a home. “I knew we were hiring for local, so I applied and got the job,” she says. “But after a while, I moved to OTL to get the experience of working concerts and going on tours. And I absolutely love my job.” As part of On Tour Logistics, Tatyanna has worked on high-profile tours, including Morgan Wallen’s. “That was my first tour this year,” she says. “I was gone for about seven months, but I was able to come home during that time. It’s a long stretch, but it’s worth it for the experience.” What drew Tatyanna to Averitt wasn’t just the role, but also our culture. “One of the biggest things was Averitt Cares for Kids,” she says. “I love children – their energy and potential. I want to be a part of their lives, helping ensure they grow up respectful and educated. Learning about Averitt’s commitment to kids made the decision easy for me.” She also appreciates the compassion we show our associates. “There’s an energy and care here that you don’t find at other companies,” she says. “Averitt really looks out for its drivers and takes care of them. It even shows in the equipment – it’s always up to date. And when it comes to the runs, the routes, everything – you’re going to get the best of the best.” Tatyanna’s professionalism and positive attitude also play a big role in how she approaches her work. “I’m big on positivity and respect for the customers,” she says. “I always have a smile on my face – it’s important to me, and it reflects well on our team.” Outside of work, Tatyanna definitely stays busy. “I spend time with my goddaughters, and I recently started making jewelry,” she says. “But my main focus now is school – I’m studying computer engineering, which means I’m back to doing homework. Finishing my degree is the next big goal.” TATYANNA POLLARD On Tour Logistics

STEPHEN SANDERS Dock Associate

For Stephen Sanders, joining our team 25 years ago was a chance to learn something new. “Before this, I worked at a place that made carpet pads,” he says. “A guy I worked with mentioned Averitt, so I came over and put in an application. I eventually got the call and started part time while still working my other job. Then when a full- time opportunity opened up, I took it, and I’ve been here ever since.” Stephen has spent his entire career on the dock in Chattanooga, where he’s seen our stability firsthand. “We’ve been a strong, stable company the whole time I’ve been here, and that’s really reassuring,” he says. “The benefits are great, too, and the people here are very professional. You feel like you’re part of a team, and everyone’s willing to help you if you need it.” Wearing his Averitt red is something else Stephen takes pride in every day. “It’s a respectful occupation,” he explains. “I feel proud to be an associate here. The uniform really shows how important professionalism is to the whole organization – and it’s a reminder that we’re part of something bigger.” He also values the opportunities for those who want to grow. “There’s room to move up if you want it,” he says. “Whether it’s driving or getting into leadership, the opportunity is there – the sky’s the limit. It just depends on how far you want to go and what you want to accomplish.” When he’s not working, Stephen likes to stay active. “I weight train daily,” he shares. “And when I have some extra time, I enjoy bowling or shooting pool. I’m not in a league or anything – they probably wouldn’t let me in,” he jokes. “I’m sure I don’t qualify.”
