JOHNSON ANDERSON CHAPEL AME CHURCH And THE MEMBERS and FRIENDS OF THE NORTHWEST TEXAS ANNUAL CONFERENCE We are privileged and honored to greet the members and friends of the historic Northwest Texas Annual Conference. The Northwest Annual Conference has through the years been a special place of endearment for the thousands of people who have called it their spiritual home. Today, we have the glorious privilege of witnessing the convening of the 140th/20th Session, gathering under the theme: “Aspiring for Greater: The Promise, The Pursuit, The Payoff.” Supervisor Richardson and I are proud to salute the Anderson Chapel AME Church Family for taking on the enormous challenge and responsibility of hosting this important annual meeting. We are pleased to recognize and to express our gratitude to Dr. Rodrecus M. Johnson, Jr. and the Rev. Ayonna D. Johnson and the loyal people of Anderson Chapel, Killeen. We are grateful for every courtesy you have anticipated for the individual comfort of conferees and to the benefit of our corporate satisfaction. It is our prayer that our time together will inspire, challenge, and encourage greater Christian service and strong social activism in the communities where we have a ministry presence in Texas.
