Kibbutz Kalya Leases Almog Resort for 20 years The resort will undergo complete renovation with an emphasis on an upgraded hospitality experience, environmental development and kosher cuisine K ibbutz Kalya has signed a 20-year lease agreement

The renovation will focus on upgrading the guest rooms, developing a green environment and improving the guest experience, including kosher cuisine. In addition, guests of the resort will enjoy a semi-Olympic pool and access to Kalya Beach. Kibbutz Kalya’s tourism branch, managed by Kalya Tourism, owns and operates several well-known tourist complexes in the area,
with Kibbutz Almog, under which it will lease Almog’s resort village, which includes 81 guest rooms. As part of the agreement, Kalya will independently invest in a comprehensive renovation of the rooms and the complex, with reservations expected to open from April 1, with launch prices starting at 500 ILS per night.

The Almog Resort is located near the Og River and offers its guests varied trips in the Judean Desert, alongside historical and religious sites. The proximity to Jerusalem (about a 30-minute drive) and the center of the country (about an hour and a quarter) makes it an accessible and convenient destination for travelers and vacationers.

Assaf Ben-Dov Leaves Africa Israel - On His Way to the Top of Jacob Hotels
Assaf Ben-Dov, the company’s VP of Marketing, is resigning from his position and moving to the Jacob Hotels chain, where he will serve as Deputy CEO for Marketing and Sales
Ben-Dov assumed the role of VP of Marketing and Network Sales at the chain in early 2020, after a 15-year career at the Fattal chain, in which he managed the domestic tourism sector and revenue in resort areas. He began his journey in the hotel industry in 1995 at the Holiday Inn chain, where he held a number of positions - the last of which was as the network’s
domestic tourism manager. Ben-Dov holds a BA with honors in social sciences from Bar-Ilan University and an MBA from Ramat Gan College and a diploma in hotel management. He will assume his new position after a cooling-off period, and will officially begin on July 1, 2025.
