In the new Second Edition, Darrius created and included The Alpha Hashtag History Project. At the top of each page of Jewels: The Story of the Founding of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity (Second Edition), there is a hashtag which you can search for on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The hashtags are facts about individual chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity that most people probably don't know. There are over 200 hashtags with amazing historical facts about the chapters of the fraternity. Jewels: The Story of the Expansion of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity (June 2011) is the sequel to the novel written in 2006. This book, also widely received, is the story of the fraternity’s early expansion from Cornel University to Howard and Virginia Union universities respectively. Celebrating the 10 anniversary of the first Jewels novel and the 5 anniversary of the second Jewels novel, Darrius extends the Jewels book series with Jewels: The Town Hall Meeting (2016). In this third installment, Darrius places the seven founders of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in a room with 12 current brothers of the fraternity. The 12 brothers range from a past General President to Regional Vice President to the fraternity’s Chief Executive Officer. The conversation with the founders is candid, open and sometimes controversial. th th
