MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCE GUIDE
When Should Someone Reach Out for Professional Help? Seek help if you or someone you know is experiencing: Persistent sadness or hopelessness lasting more than two weeks Withdrawal from social activities or previously enjoyed hobbies Drastic changes in sleep, appetite, or energy levels Difficulty concentrating, making decisions, or functioning daily Excessive worry, panic attacks, or irrational fears Thoughts of self-harm or suicide Substance abuse to cope with stress or emotions Trauma-related flashbacks, nightmares, or hypervigilance Remember: You don’t need to be in crisis to seek help. Therapy is also for personal growth, stress management, and support through life transitions.
