the Lord persistently impressed upon our minds the need for further educa tion and training for His work. Consulting our pastor, who was an egg customer, as well as others, each one encouraged us to attend Bible school. Christian friends began pray ing for us as the decision was made known. We heard of Arizona Bible Institute through an advertisement in a Chris tian publication. A visiting church speaker recommended the school to us. Receiving the catalog, we noticed the strong emphasis on missions. Our prayer was that the Lord might help us to arrive in time for the missionary conference. Looking back, we do not regret our decision in the least. Rather, marvel at the many opportunities we have had to serve the Lord, and the wonderful ways He has provided our needs.. We are trusting Him for His continued guidance that we may be effective serv ants for Him. It is to our lovely Lord and Saviour that all the praise belongs for what He has accomplished in our lives. Following graduation, we leave for northern Arizona and work at the Good News Camp, and daily vacation Bible schools among the Navajo In dians as missionaries with Child Evan gelism of Arizona. Your prayers are especially appreciated as we look for ward to continued missionary work among the Indian people of our country. Micah 3:8; Acts 1:8). “In the inward man,” the man within, the regenerated spirit, the “heart” of verse 17. The heart of the unregenerated man is Satan’s throne and workshop (Jer. 17:9; Mark 7:21-23; Gen. 6:5), and the purpose of salvation is a new, clean heart with a new King on the throne (Ezek. 36:26, 27; Ps. 51:10; Tit. 3:5; 2 Cor. 5:17; John 1:12, 13). Regeneration is the ini tial step, but His great work must be maintained and this is the work of the Holy Spirit in the regenerate heart; He is the power of God by which we are kept (I Pet. 1:5). 23

A CHICKEN RANCH AND BIBLE SCHOOL W hat a privilege to share the Lord’s blessings in our lives with others. Having owned and operated a com- merical poultry farm in western New York state for 17 years, our home, a part of our business, was destroyed by fire. It had been personally designed with extensive landscaping. Since it was necessary to enlarge our business to meet competition, church activities were drastically curtailed. While cleaning and packing eggs each day we listened to Christian radio

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schulz broadcasts. There the Lord used to speak to our hearts, and the need, for missionaries burdened our hearts. We finally told the Lord that we were will ing to do whatever He chose for our lives; to go wherever He would lead. There were, of course, many prob lems which were not easily solved. The business had to be liquidated and the property sold. Both of us had been out of school for more than 20 ye.ars. Still Paul's Ptayer (concluded) power through His Spirit in the inward man.” This is the main petition of the prayer. The Christians must be “made strong.” This verb (krataioo) occurs four times (Luke 1:80; 2:40; I Cor. 16:13; Eph. 3:l6), and from it comes the noun kratos, strength (7:19; 6:10). The means of this strength is “power,” not “might,” as the A. Y. has it. The Greek word is dunamis, which is not might but dynamite, and which is cor rectly translated “power” in veVse 20. “Through His Spirit.” The Holy Spirit of God is the source of power (see also
