Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) forms an integral part of UMADAOP Mansfield's approach to SUD treatment. With an on-site physician overseeing medication management, individuals receive prescriptions for methadone, buprenorphine, or extended-release injectable naltrexone to alleviate withdrawals, curb cravings, and prevent relapse, enhancing the efficacy of the overall treatment plan.

Recovery support services, substance use disorder peer supporters, community health workers, and programs addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders further enrich the continuum of care offered by UMADAOP Mansfield. These services aim to provide holistic, non-clinical support, leverage peer experiences, bridge community resources, and integrate mental health care with substance use disorder treatment to address the complex needs of individuals grappling with dual diagnoses effectively.
