Description Design and Visual Communication (DVC)
introduces the basics of design and drawing to communicate technological ideas. It provides the important groundings for students undertaking studies in technology or DVC in Year 10 and above. Students will gain an understanding of the design process, how to communicate design ideas using graphics practice and appropriate technologies. Topics include: • Freehand sketching • Technical drawing • Rendering • Presentation • Computer aided design Assessment Continual formative assessments to check progress and completion of project based learning.

Description In today’s society, communication and design in its many forms are vital factors for success in our constantly evolving technological world. DVC helps meet the needs of our modern technological society by combining the important educational aspects of graphics practice, design, visual communication and creative problem solving.
