About WC N Wisconsin Christian News represents a cooper- ative effort by active Christians from all walks of life. In our pages and on our website, you will find Infor- mation, Education and Inspiration, with a majority of the articles written by members of our “WCN Fam- ily” of contributors. There is something of interest to every member of the family. We hope you are blessed and become a regular reader. WCN seeks, at all times, to publish the TRUTH, regardless of “political correctness,” standing up for America’s historical Christian heritage and urging a return to biblical, moral standards. We offer very thought-provoking commentary, inspired teach- ing, real life testimonies, world, national, state and regional news, plus advice and information from experts in their areas of business and ministry -- all in the various sections of our 48-page newspa- per. In addition to providing valuable content to the Christian community, we focus equally on reach- ing those who are lost and seeking, and those who may have been alienated from church as an institution in the past. You’ll find WCN on the racks in the lobbies of grocery stores, family restaurants, shopping centers and malls and most Christian book stores. Of course, you can also find a copy at many of our “Ministry Partner” advertisers’ business and ministry locations. This is our outreach to the mar- ketplace, and we receive many wonderful testi- monies from people who have found the Lord for the first time, or returned to Him, after many years away, after finding our newspaper in a public place. Our Doctrinal Statement • There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. • Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was

• The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all na- tions. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. • The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and pre-mil- lennial. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, the just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He died, was buried and arose from the dead ac- cording to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His kingdom of right- eousness and peace. • The Holy Spirit is sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. • The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as origi- nally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. • Man was originally created in the image and like- ness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurring, thereby, both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the love of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. • Salvation has been made available through Jesus Christ for all men; those who repent and be- lieve in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. • It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. • Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mor- tal body. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the church in the present age.

Try It God’s Way

By Rob Pue May 2025

continual sanctification, becoming more like Christ as we mature in our faith each day. So, we’re to be the leaders in our homes, and like Christ, we are to love — we’re to be servant leaders...ministers. And if you serve your wife, love her, adore her, cherish her and put her second only to God Himself in your life, giving not 50% but 100% of your time attention and affection to her, I believe you’ll find your wife will not only respect and honor you but willingly submit herself to your needs as well. This is the bib- lical recipe for a Godly marriage. Our problem today is that so many are self-centered. We live in a literal toxic environment — from the chemi- cals and poisons in the air we breathe, to the water we drink and the food we eat. But it’s worse than that. Today we live in a spiritually toxic en- vironment as well, surrounded by the wicked enticements of self-indulgence and self-interest. It’s everywhere we turn, from entertainment and social media to our pop culture at large. We’ve been brainwashed by the enemy to regard our selves as entitled and deserving of everything. The trouble is, when everyone has this mindset, there’s little to no real serv- ing going on, and Christ calls us to be servants of all. He calls us to die to self and instead serve others, espe- cially our dear spouses. Yes, like everything else, Satan has turned God’s perfect design and plan to the complete opposite and our worldly lusts and passions have lured us into his trap. Continued on Page 7

In a recent message, I explained the concept of men being servant leaders in their homes, and to their wives. I explained how most modern mar- riages are set up for failure right from the start, when both partners expect to give 50% of their effort toward the relationship. A 50-50 situation is most common today, as wives expect their husbands to contribute half of everything and the husband expects the wife to contribute the other half. By our human reasoning, this sounds like the ideal situation, but as I explained previously, when each partner contributes 50%, that means that each person fails, and I used the analogy of getting a 50% grade on a test in school. If you get 50% on a test, you fail. In marriage, 50% also equals failure, and not just the failure of one, but the failure of both part- ners, and then the failure of the mar- riage itself. I firmly believe that husbands should serve their wives while being the leaders of their homes. I under- stand this goes contrary to what many Christians have been taught as they cherry-pick Ephesians 5: 22 and 23: “Wives, submit to your own hus- bands, as to the Lord. For the hus- band is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the Church.” I know there are many professing Christian men out there who love to quote this verse of Scripture as they assert their dom- ination, seeking to be Master of their domain. And they think it’s biblical. Somehow, they miss the part that

says, “...as also Christ is head of the Church.” Men, are you treating your wife properly or are you one who thinks “Wives submit to your own hus- bands” means that when you get married, you acquire a slave? Under- stand, we’re Christians here — not Muslims. In Islam, the wife does, in- deed, become her husband’s slave. In Christianity, the husband leads his home by serving his wife; attending to her needs, providing for her, protect- ing her, cherishing her as “more pre- cious than jewels.” As the head of the Church, Christ literally gave His life for His Bride. Now, many will say, “absolutely... I would readily give up my life for my wife.” Really? Are you doing that now? Are you putting her needs, de- sires and interests ahead of your own? Or are you saving 50% of your- self (your time, your attention, your recreation, your free time, your dis- posable income) — for yourself?

So...you’d give up your life for your wife... but will you give up your televi- sion time, your fishing and hunting time? Will you give up something you’ve been wanting in favor of bless- ing your precious wife with something she’s been wanting? Will you give up the rest and relaxation you feel you need and deserve in order to do tasks for your wife that she really hates to do? And one more: are you willing to give up the porn you’ve been viewing? I know, for many of you, that one stung a little bit. But it’s a valid ques- tion, and one not talked about in “Christian” circles — probably be- cause just as many professing Chris- tians engage in pornography as do non-Christians; they just do it in se- cret. Let’s read on. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself for her.” As Christians, we’re to live our lives here on this earth in

World ‘Shake Up’

By Jim Schneider, Executive Director, VCY America May 2025 Without question a shake- up of the world is underway. On the international front, Klaus Schwab recently stepped down abruptly from the World Economic Forum, a globalist body athirst for power and control. Adding to

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5). A further description of the evilness of mankind is accentuated just a few verses later. “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” (Genesis 6:11). As a result of man’s wickedness, God brought judgment upon the earth with a universal global flood. All mankind that disregarded God’s warning suffered His wrath upon their insistence of a sin-filled life and full rejection of God. Scripture clearly points this out, “And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.” (Genesis 7:23). This was a shake-up like never seen before. But another shake-up was just around the corner. God was clear in His instructions to mankind to be fruitful and to multiply and to fill the earth (see Gen- esis 9:1). However, in defiance of God, man wanted to make a name for himself and as such, designed a tower to reach to the heavens. Due to man’s sin and rebellion, God shook-up the world by confounding the languages and scattering the people. Numerous other illustrations of shake-ups are re- vealed in the Scriptures. Looking ahead, there is coming a future shake-up that will swiftly bring Di- vine judgement. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (II Peter 3:10). This world is being reserved for judgment by fire. Those who know Jesus as Savior will escape this Di- vine shake-up. But those who refuse the free gift of salvation offered now will suffer greatly for eternity. The consequences for this shake-up can be avoided. It is critical that each individual would learn from God’s shake-ups in the past to avoid the shake-up to come. “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (II Corinthians 6:2b). his sudden resignation, shockwaves were sent when the delegation from the United States went before the United Nations General Assembly to de- nounce the “2030 Agenda” which dictates the im- plementation of Sustainable Development Goals. These globalist goals would usher in sweeping con- trol and usurp national sovereignty for the sake of what some call “the global good.” Additionally, the World Health Organization was forced to enact drastic cutbacks due to the United States withholding funds from their globalist coffers. Other nations are also bucking against this body which has demonstrated a lust for control. They de- sire the ability to usurp authority over the world whenever they determine a health “emergency” is necessary. Such actions strike at the heart of na- tional sovereignty. The WHO quickly announced that the terms to a Pandemic Treaty have been agreed. Its fate is yet to be determined. The United Nations, a globalist body, is also on the brink of electing a new Secretary-General. The term of Antonio Guterres comes to an end in 2026. Due to its adherence to diversity, equity and inclusion, it is speculated that for the first time ever, a leftist, pro- abortion woman will be elected to lead this organiza- tion in 2026. Time will tell. Further shaking the world, the Trump Administra- tion dealt a critical blow to globalism with massive cuts to a number of international organizations. This was accompanied by another blow: removing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Treaty. Additional ac- tions are also shaking the proverbial apple cart of those espousing one-world governance. The new administration has also shaken every cab- inet level agency with a promotion of national sover- eignty and self-dependence rather than reliance on

other nations for critical needs. This has resulted in a shake-up in areas pertaining to our nation’s mili- tary returning to a state of lethal force rather than a model for diversity, equity and inclusion. A shake- up is happening in the area of energy to make this nation independent from foreign suppliers. A shake- up is happening in healthcare restoring common sense and bringing the manufacturing of pharma- ceuticals back within our borders. To protect the citizens of the U.S. a shake-up is oc- curring at our borders, prohibiting entry to those seeking to come illegally and also from those who at- tempt to undermine this Constitutional Republic. The shake-up at our borders is impacting nations around the world. There is also a shake-up taking place in our Justice Department as it is no longer being used as a politi- cal weapon against those who stand for life. A shake-up is occurring in the area of education seek- ing to return this function from the federal govern- ment to the states. Additional areas of shake-up are happening within the Department of the Treasury, Department of the Interior, Department of Labor, Homeland Security, HUD, Veteran’s Affairs, Health and Human Services, DOGE, etc. No stone is being left unturned. As momentous as the shake-up is from these events, nothing compares to the shake-up God has brought about in judgment of this world. The shake- ups have occurred not only in the past, but will also take place in the future. God shook-up the world during the time of Noah.

Perspectives Opinions • Commentar y • L etters REAL ID, The Surveillance State, and The Bible

By Pastor Matt Trewhella May 2025

garchy). They wanted there to be multiple levels and multiple branches so that if any one branch or branches began act lawlessly and play the tyrant, another branch or branches would interpose against their evil and check them. They pillared such a government because they held to the biblical view of the nature of man – that he is wicked and in need of a Savior, namely, Jesus Christ.

Meanwhile, the Christians are invoking their escha- tology to justify their indifference toward REAL ID. One Christian stated it this way when hearing of REAL ID: “The mark of the beast is coming whether anyone’s es- chatology allows for it or not. Please wake up! The signs of the nearness of Christ’s return have been all around us.”

When the governments of men do wrong and foment tyranny, it is the duty of the churchmen to confront their wrongdoing and the pulpits to thunder against the evil. Recently, I made a post on Facebook that stated – “Contrary to media propaganda, you will NOT need REAL ID to fly in America starting May 7th.”

The REAL ID act was passed in 2005 – yes, 20 years ago – it was in response to the 9-11 at- tacks in New York. The imple- mentation of it has been delayed all these years – and now the Trump administration is hell-bent on implementing it. A slew of news articles meant to stampede people to get REAL ID have been saturating the news for the last several weeks – hence, my Facebook post.

The nature of man demands that we resist REAL ID – the wickedness of man demands it. If enough people simply refuse to get REAL ID, the govern- ment will have to delay it yet again. Understand, you can use your passport or veteran ID card if push comes to shove. But resist at all points! Once they have this plank of their tyranny established, they in- tend to bring in mandatory fa- cial recognition. When the governments of men do wrong and foment tyranny it is the duty of the churchmen to confront their wrongdoing and the pulpits to

When researching REAL ID, it is difficult to understand what exactly it is – and why it is so important to them to convince all of us to get it. So, let’s listen to what they say them- selves – what the government itself says. Kristi Noem – the great defender of freedom during COVID as then Gov. of South Dakota – put out a video from Homeland Security, which she now heads up. In it, she declares two reasons we need REAL ID: 1). for convenience, and 2). for our safety. The government sells many things to the populace under the guise of convenience and safety. You can get on your plane faster – no more delays she says. And the dopes line up willing to surrender personal data to the state. And when it comes to safety, Americans might want to remember what Benjamin Franklin once said, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to pur- chase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” What exactly REAL ID is and why they are pushing it can be difficult to actually know – but here’s what you should know: the fact that they want you to get REAL ID so badly should communicate to you that you do NOT want to get it. REAL ID is clearly another step in creating a tyrants paradise. Just like in COVID, both your average American and the Christians are showing blithe compliance both in comments on news stories about REAL ID and on so- cial media. As one average American stated, “I don’t get why everyone is so mad at the real id thing. I’ve had one for four years. Had no idea it was an issue. What am I missing?” How about like half of your brain? The REAL ID is part and parcel of the continuing construction of the American surveillance state.

The futurist Christians — with their premillennial, pre- rapture escapist thinking — will go along with any state intrusions as long as it isn’t a literal mark in their hand or their forehead. They will help build the surveillance state by virtue of their faulty eschatology. The number one reason you need to resist and op- pose REAL ID is because of what Scripture declares about the nature of man, namely, that he is wicked and in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ. Romans 3:9-18 lays out the nature of man. “For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit. The poi- son of asps is under their lips, Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery are in their ways; And the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.’” The nature of man is why America’s founders estab- lished multiple levels of government and multiple branches on each level within civil government. They wanted it that way so power did not reside in one man’s

thunder against the evil.

John Knox once wrote: “As touching nature I am a worm of this earth, and yet a subject of this common- wealth; but as touching the office wherein it has pleased God to place me, I am a watchman. For that reason I am bound in conscience to blow the trumpet publicly.” The Old and New Testaments are threaded with in- teractions between the people of God and the state au- thorities. Whether Isaiah or Jeremiah, Joseph or David, the prophets warned government officials of the con- sequences of ungodly rule and kept them accountable. If you would like to see from Scripture why the mark in the forehead and right hand do not have to be taken literally, listen to the sermon below on Real ID which I preached on April 27th, 2025. “Real ID, the Surveil- lance State, and The Bible” — Youtube.com/watch?v=-I_IQWoa8g4&t=1253s Matt Trewhella is pastor of Mercy Seat Christian Church ( Mercy- Seat.net ); founder of Missionaries to the Preborn ( Missionar- iesToThePreborn.com ); and teacher of the lesser magistrate doctrine ( DefyTyrants.com ). Ring Of Fire Becoming More Active

By Michael Snyder May 2025

munities dangerously exposed to flooding. So how much could some of these coastal areas sink? Well, we are being told that a magnitude 8.0 earthquake could cause the ground to fall by up to six and a half feet in just 30 minutes. A 700-mile-long fault line that runs along the West Coast is overdue for a massive earthquake that sci- entists warn could sink parts of the US. New research found that a 8.0 magnitude or higher quake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone, com- bined with rising sea levels, would cause coastal land

been so many earthquakes in southern California in 2025, there has been a lot of talk about “the Big One” recently. For example, the following comes from an article that was posted by Newsweek earlier this year... “Seismologists are closely monitoring California’s fault lines as concerns grow about the possibility that the ‘Big One’ could happen soon. The ‘Big One’ refers to a massive earthquake that could occur along the San Andreas Fault, one of the state’s most significant and active fault lines. Scien- tists predict that this earthquake could reach a magnitude of 7.8 or higher, causing wide- spread destruction across Southern California or the San Francisco Bay Area depending on the rupture location.” I am convinced that when “the Big One” ar- rives, it will be far larger than magnitude 7.8. In my new book entitled “Ten Prophetic Events That Are Coming Next,” I talk about a cata- clysmic earthquake that will radically alter the geography of the California coast. Once that apocalyptic quake occurs, you won’t want to be living anywhere in the state of California. Of course the entire southern coast of Alaska also sits directly along the Ring of Fire, and there have been signs that Mount Spurr could erupt very soon. In fact, Mount Spurr in Alaska has experienced 66 earthquakes in just one week, signaling increased instability around the volcano. The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) released a report detailing the heightened seismic activity, not- ing that an eruption cannot be ruled out. If it erupts, it could send volcanic ash tens of thousands of feet into the air. That would certainly cause quite a bit of chaos for all of the air traffic that comes through that region. A massive cloud of ash billowing 50,000 feet into the air would force international hubs such as Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) and potentially Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) to shut down. Halting all incoming and departing flights at these airports could have a ripple effect across the country, resulting in widespread delays and cancellations and even disrupting the global supply chain. Hundreds of planes fly over Anchorage and Fair- banks per day, and it’s not just passenger flights that would be impacted. ANC is the fourth-busiest cargo airport in the world, with more than 8,000 cargo flights passing through each month. Let us hope that Mount Spurr does not erupt any time soon. But whether that happens or not, without a doubt our planet has entered a time of increasing instability. Tectonic plates are constantly shifting and moving, and scientists assure us that cataclysmic natural disasters are inevitable. If you live on the west coast of the United States, you are living in one of the world’s worst danger zones, and I would encourage you to make prepara- tions for what is coming while you still can.

In recent months, we have seen a tremendous amount of seismic activity occur along the Ring of Fire. Sizable earthquakes have been popping off like firecrackers, and volcanic activity has risen to very alarming levels. If you doubt this, just check out the eruption map on VolcanoDiscovery.com. As you can see from that map, volcanoes are erupt- ing all around the perimeter of the Pacific Ocean. Of course this shouldn’t exactly shock any of us, be- cause 75 percent of all of the active volcanoes in the world are located along the Ring of Fire. Most people are shocked to learn that the Ring of Fire isn’t an actual “ring” you can see, but a massive horseshoe-shaped belt stretch- ing over 40,000 kilometers around the Pacific Ocean. This region touches the coasts of North and South America, Asia, and Oceania. It’s home to 75% of the world’s active volca- noes — over 450 in total. The numbers are staggering: about 90% of all earthquakes on Earth occur here each year. For decades, the west coast of the United States has been one of the quietest stretches of the Ring of Fire. But now that is changing. Recently, there was a magnitude 5.2 earth- quake near San Diego, and the region has been rattled by literally hundreds of small earthquakes within the past few days. The good news is that we haven’t seen a cata- clysmic west coast earthquake yet, but one of these days time will finally run out. A team of researchers has determined that a large enough earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone could cause the ground “to suddenly sink” in coastal areas of northern California, Oregon and Washington state. Researchers warn that a “megaquake” — an excep- tionally large earthquake with a magnitude of 8.0 or higher — along the Cascadia Subduction Zone could cause the ground in some areas to suddenly sink. The Cascadia Subduction Zone is a fault line that stretches from Northern California to British Colum- bia. This abrupt sinking, known as “sudden coastal subsidence,” would immediately raise local sea levels, inundate floodplains and leave entire coastal com-

to sink up to 6.5 feet within 30 minutes of a major tremor. The lead author of the study says that once this oc- curs, “all the sea level rise you expected by 2300 is going to happen in minutes.” In such events, “all the sea level rise you expected by 2300 is going to happen in minutes,” Tina Dura, the study’s lead author and assistant professor of geosciences at Virginia Tech told the San Francisco Chronicle. What do you think that would mean for the millions of people that live near the coast in northern Califor- nia, Oregon and Washington state? Needless to say, a lot of “oceanfront property” would suddenly be under the Pacific Ocean permanently. I was curious, and so I asked Google AI if a similar thing could happen in southern California, and this is what I was told... “Yes, land east of the San An- dreas Fault could expe- rience significant

subsidence, meaning the ground could sink by several feet, during a major earthquake. The San Andreas Fault is a strike-slip fault, where the Pacific Plate slides past the North American Plate. This movement can cause the ground to shift and drop, espe- cially during earth- quakes.” Because there have

Try It God’s Way (Continued from Page 3)

And like everything else, we must seek the guidance of God’s Word as we navigate this short life we have in this earthly realm. Again, constant sanctification. Constantly seeking to know and do God’s will — and follow His plan. We can’t very well do that if we don’t even know His will or His plan. But if you study and under- stand God’s Word on a regular, daily basis it becomes very easy and crys- tal clear how we’re to live and how we’re to treat and interact with each other. So many today view their mar- riages as a curse rather than the greatest blessing in their lives. Men refer to their wives as “the old ball and chain.” A burden, ruining all the fun. Wives refer to their husbands as “my old man.” Undesirable, fat, lazy and boring. But once upon a time these two were deeply in love. All they could think about was each other. What in the world happened? “Self” happened, that’s what. The honeymoon quickly ended as each partner sought to fulfill their own de- sires, rather than serve one another as they did when they were “court- ing.” When you do that, the attrac- tion, love and desire you have for one another will obviously reverse itself and of course you’ll view your spouse as a burden, baggage, undesirable, fat, lazy and boring. So... how is that “serving yourself” stuff working out now? Don’t you see? The Bible is right again! Husbands, love your wives and give yourself up for her! Wives, submit to your husbands as unto the Lord! It’s all right there! But what happens when one spouse is following Christ, becoming more spiritually mature and living their lives in faith, relying on God and revering Him, but the other is not? First of all, choose your mate wisely. I understand the infatuation and pas- sion you feel in the beginning. You may be a strong, faithful Christ-fol- lower, but your beloved may only be a “baby Christian” or may even only express a slight interest in the things of God, so that you’ll find them ac- ceptable. You’re so “in love,” you be- lieve this doesn’t really matter that much, because you think once you’re married, you’ll grow together in the Lord. That doesn’t always happen. In 2nd Corinthians 6, we’re warned to not be unequally yoked with unbe- lievers. This is especially important when it comes to marriage. When the honeymoon and the infatuation inevitably ends, you may find yourself in a life-long union with a person who thinks you’re crazy because of your deep faith and love for God. You may wait a lifetime for them to come to Christ, even when you’re leading by example and selflessly serving them, modeling a true Christ-follow- ing lifestyle for them.

You might have a deep desire to pray together, serve God together, follow His commandments together, but your spouse may have zero in- terest in any of those things. Scrip- ture tells us, however, that we’re to stay together. The only excuse for divorce anywhere in God’s Word is in the case of adultery, and this is a worst-case scenario and very griev- ous to God. In 1 Corinthians 7, we have this: “If any brother has an un- believing wife and she is willing to live with him, he must not leave her. Also, if any woman has an unbeliev- ing husband and he is willing to live with her, she must not leave her hus- band. For the unbelieving husband is set apart for God by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is set apart for God by the husband.” 1 Peter 3:7 says, “Husbands, like- wise, dwell with them with under- standing, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.” These verses tell me that even if your spouse is an unbeliever, you should still — steadfastly and consistently — minister to them through servant leadership, because you’re heirs to- gether of the grace of life. You may not be able to pray together, but you must still pray for your unbelieving mate — and do so in faith that their hearts may be opened to the Lord. And men, give honor to your wife under all circumstances. If you don’t, Scripture warns that your prayers may be hindered. And again, when you pray, do so in faith. You may have been the perfect spouse, patient, kind, loving and serving your mate for decades, pray- ing for them to come to Christ and still you haven’t seen any fruit from your efforts. I understand this can be extremely frustrating. But if you’ve been faithful to plant the seed, if you’ve been faithful to water it and tend to it, then continue to petition God in prayer on your mate’s behalf. “And He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” That’s Philippians 1:6, and though it’s actually an encouragement from Paul and Timothy to the new believ- ers in Philippi, I believe it’s also ap- plicable in the case of an unbelieving spouse. Since you and your mate are no longer two but one flesh when you’re married, God’s promises are for both of you. But understand that the work of your spouse’s salvation is not yours to do. You are to plant the seed, water it, tend to it, serve it and pray for it. But it is God who will be doing the miracle — not you. Be encouraged though. I know of several examples where it literally took a lifetime together before an un- believing spouse came to Christ in repentance and true faith. Some-

times we get the blessing from God of being allowed to see the fruits of our labors. In other cases, the seeds we plant don’t bloom until after our time on this earth is up. Hang in there. Do your part. Continue on in faith and confidence in God. Don’t let the doubts of the enemy frustrate you, and don’t grow weary in well doing. In conclusion on this topic, many marriages today are in turmoil. Many couples are incredibly un- happy in their marriages. Some are unequally yoked. If you’re in a sit- uation like this, just know that it doesn’t need to be this way. There is hope. But you must do your part. Memories are a wonderful gift from God. They teach us to avoid dangers and mistakes we made when we didn’t know any better. But our memories can also be a blessing as we recall the deep love and connection we had with our spouses when we were “courting.” In your mind, go back to those days, and remember that love. Yes, it was a feeling then, an emo- tion. But as we progress together in life, “love” transforms from a mere superficial feeling to inten- tional actions. If you want that new- lywed “spark” back in a wounded and dying relationship, simply do what you did “way back when.” You pursued, you served, you gave, you overlooked imperfections and focused on the good things. Do this again. If you’re in what you consider a “bad marriage,” this can only help. Do so with good and Godly intentions and combine it with fervent prayer — praying with confidence and faith — and He will bless your efforts. Our lifetimes here are too short to waste time and expend energy on doing life the wrong way. God Him- self has laid out the plan for us in His Holy Word, the Bible. Study it, and you will find every answer you’re seeking. At the same time, realize that the enemy of our souls, Satan, has brainwashed entire so- cieties and cultures around the world with lies that are the exact op- posite of God’s perfect plan for us. It’s a spiritual battle we’re in. Satan attacks children and families relentlessly, but to do that, he first must get a foot in the door by at- tacking husbands and wives in their marriages. One of his most effec- tive tools is whispering in our ears that we “deserve better,” that we are “entitled” to whatever we want, that we should come first. Jesus said the opposite. He said we must be the servant of all, laying down our lives for our brothers and sisters in Christ, and especially within the covenant we made with our spouses in marriage. So, try it God’s way. Do the opposite of what

Satan has made popular through his clever marketing of self-indulgence. Romans 12:2, “And be not con- formed to this world: but be trans- formed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of

God.” Don’t just read that. Do it. You’ve seen where doing things your way has gotten you. Isn’t it time to try it God’s way? Email: Rob@WisconsinChristianNews.com Phone: (715) 486-8066

Wisconsin Christian News Is Reader Supported and We Need Your Help To Continue

what’s really going on in our world today.

Have you been blessed by picking up a copy of Wisconsin Christian News from a news rack in a public place? Do you appreciate the hard-hitting, thought provoking commentary, in- spired Bible teaching, and relevant (and truthful) news from around the world? Do you appreciate the fact that we publish the TRUTH — whether it’s “politically correct” or not? Do you like that we stand up for America’s historical Christian her- itage, even as we urge a return to the moral, biblical standards that our na- tion once cherished? Wisconsin Christian News is a coop- erative effort by active Christ-followers from all walks of life. In our pages and on our website, you’ll find Informa- tion, Education and Inspiration, with a majority of the articles written by members of our “WCN family” of con- tributors. WE HAVE SOME OF THE BEST CHRISTIAN WRITERS IN THE

NATION IN OUR PAGES, FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY — AND WCN IS NOT JUST FOR WISCONSIN! We have subscribers in all fifty states, and our website is used by people WORLD- WIDE! But while we provide valuable con- tent to the Christian community, our real focus is on reaching those who are lost and seeking, or those who have been alienated from “church” as an institution in the past. And espe- cially those who have never heard the Good News of the Gospel of Christ, or have walked away from their faith and have continued searching. The “free” copies you’ll find on the racks in lobbies of grocery stores, fam- ily restaurants, truck stops, book- stores, libraries, hotels and other public places are our OUTREACH to those who otherwise would never get the truth of God’s Word or the truth of

We do have advertisements in the paper, however, the revenue from our ads doesn’t come anywhere close to covering the enormous financial needs, which we must raise every month. For several years now, WCN has only been able to continue through the generous financial sup- port of individuals — true Christ-fol- lowers who understand and support the ministry work we do. We are nearly 100% Reader Sup- ported now, yet of the thousands of copies we provide out in the public square, far fewer than 1% of those who pick a copy up every month ever send any type of support. This has now become unsustainable. Some have suggested we become an “online only” publication. But we hope you understand, if we were to do that, only those who are already

Every month, we distribute thou- sands of copies of Wisconsin Christian News free of charge, made available in public news racks. We also provide complimentary copies to jail inmates, shut-ins, and hospital patients. This is our ministry to those who are lost, confused and seeking the truth. We’ve had wonderful testimonies from peo- ple who have come to know the Lord for the first time, or returned to Him, after many years away, after finding and reading our newspaper in a pub- lic place. This is our outreach — and it truly is a ministry — our mission. But it costs a great deal of money to do this, and while we constantly re- ceive requests for even MORE copies in these public areas, the costs to pro- duce and distribute our printed news- paper continue to rise every month.

Christians and who would go to our website purposely, would ever see it. This is why our print edition is VITAL — whereas a Bible tract or book handed to someone would eas- ily be tossed aside, because we’re in newspaper format, thousands of people pick up WCN each month — of their own freewill, because they want it! What better way to reach the unsaved, than for THEM to choose to pick up our newspaper on their own, be- cause something on our front page caught their attention? Then, eyes are opened and hearts and lives are changed. Very likely, we reach more unsaved souls out in public with God’s Word and truth in a single month than the aver- age church will reach in its en- tire existence. This is not “boasting,” but rather the sim- ple truth. Thus, we must maintain our print edition . This work is more vital now than ever before. Especially in this age of dis-information and mis-information, political “spin” and radical leftist “jour- nalism.” But if Wisconsin Christian News is to continue as a print publication, available by sub- scription to Christians, as well as those thousands of free copies we place in public to reach the lost, we NEED YOUR HELP today! Please consider becoming a monthly Supporting Member of our ministry team. While so many readily fund overseas missionaries, THIS is a mis- sion right here in your own backyard, where it’s so des- perately needed. We’re asking for your help, and believe everybody can do something. But if you’re truly not able to help financially, we ask that you please help prayerfully. Without your help, we will not be able to continue this essential outreach much longer. Please prayerfully con- sider what YOU can and will do today, to make sure WCN is still there next month. Thank you, and God bless you.

The Salt & Light Brigade

Infiltration, Not Invasion

By Coach Dave Daubenmire May 2025

Evil men had crept in…and no one noticed. Today we fight against the un- Godly forces of darkness. Currently, in the middle of the ever-ex- panding infor- mation age, it is possible for an American child to complete 13 years of public indoctrination

John F. Kennedy tried to warn us. It cost him his life.

Eisenhower did too…on his way out of the door.

But the Bible was the first one to warn us that “evil men have crept in unawares and changed the truth of God into a lie.” America has been invaded. Evil men have crept in and now occupy some of the most powerful seats of once-Christian America. A quick review of the Scriptures will find multiple references to the spirit war that has now moved into the natural realm. The Book of Ephesians warns us, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Would it be safe to say that we are seeing the manifestation of evil like no time in recorded history? Are we foolish enough to believe that this is simply a political bat- tle? Do we not understand that this is a spiritual manifestation of the Bible into the natural world? The heart of man is the target, and individual souls are the prize.

do you. But we do know that Jesus told us to occupy — not hide — until He comes. We are least like our Savior when we are afraid. The King doesn’t think highly of the cowardly. “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore- mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.” Is there really a difference between the two political par- ties? Where are the men of God? Infiltration…not invasion. It happened on our watch. For God’s sake, Christian. Stand up and speak up. “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Romans 8). Will we answer the call? The world is waiting on us. and never hear a word about the central figure of Western Civilization — the Man by whom all time is measured, around the world…every country…every religion… every nation. Anyone who signs a paycheck, writes a check, or keeps a journal daily, records that this is year 2025. Why 2025? 2025 years from what? AD… “anno Domini…” Latin for “the year of our Lord.” BC… “be- fore Christ.” All time measured by the ac- knowledgment of the arrival of Jesus Christ. You are more likely to hear the history of Genghis Khan in your public-school his- tory book than you are the life and impact of the King of kings…the Man by whom all time is measured. The kings referenced in Psalm 2 have in- filtrated and taken control of the schools, the family, the government, and now the churches. Today, we stand at the crossroads and history will record what we did in this crit- ical moment in Western Civilization. Did we stand and fight, or did we cower in the corner as the kings of the Earth herded us

When will the American Church wake up?

Psalm 2 tells us: “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed, saying, ‘Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.’” It is the ultimate conspiracy…but far more than a theory…the earthly kings (leaders) are working together to overthrow the Kingdom of God. It is the job of the Church (Body of Christ) to establish His rule here on Earth. Remember the Lord’s prayer you learned as a young child…THY KINGDOM COME…THY WILL BE DONE…ON EARTH! “Occupy til I come…” that is His Command. Why are God’s people so un- willing to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the Saints” (Jude)? The American Church has become so heavenly conscious that we are no earthly good! In 1947 the SCOTUS issued the first of many wicked decisions in Everson v Board when the terrorists-in-Black-Robes de- clared that Jesus was no longer King over America. Over 200 years of Christian tra- dition was jettisoned to the backseat of the American bus as the foundation of all American government was uprooted and replaced with the religion of Humanism.

into the safety of our “churches,” wearing a mask of course, where we hid from the enemy…afraid to obey the command of the Bible? “Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them…” We are the light of the world. The job of light is to expose what is hap- pening in the dark- ness. Cowering in the safety of our stained-glassed fortresses is not what our Savior had in mind. I don’t know where we stand in Bible es- chatology. Neither
