Whilst the logo isn’t bad, the curved corners only adds to that soft aesthetic. The overall all feeling is ‘nice’ but is it ‘fun?’ A great cold brews should wake you up, energize you for your day, quickly and conveniently. The current branding does not inspire this.

Building a new brand is an on-going process. In this round we are opening up to experimentation and seeking playful qualities for this brand. The aesthetic will begin to settle as it is graphically tested in newsletter and website design. For now, embrace the play, have some fun with it - it is coffee after all!

We have the shots of cold brew on a simple color blocked background, what we don’t have is a sense of desirable lifestyle. Plus the presence of men. Sexier imagery, darker tones, not just clean kitchen whites. Finding social moments with cold brew will be harder from stock. Ideally photos should feel more ‘influencer’ - in other words real, we can look into sourcing.

We need the presence of people drinking coffee, and to show what our audience looks like. Ideally these wouldn’t feel like staged stock imagery and would be better done through content creators. It would also be good to have some staged product shots (once the packaging is designed) that aren’t on a plain background, but create a sense of luxury at home - See Wandering Bear.
