Brigitte Bertschi Financial Aid Endowment Fund
Established 2004
The Brigitte Bertschi Financial Aid Endowment Fund honors our founder’s dedication to socioeconomic diversity. It ensures 100% coverage of accepted families’ demonstrated need for financial assistance (as determined by the third-party financial aid system Clarity). Financial aid covers all aspects of a Bertschi education including tuition, after school care, lunch service, learning services, and summer camp. We remain committed to providing all students access to our rich curriculum and to support our families during their entire time at Bertschi. Bertschi is proud to be able to support a need-blind admission process. This means that qualified applicants are admitted to our school regardless of their financial means. Families who qualify for financial aid recently increased from 18% to 20% of the overall student body. Awards range from a few thousand dollars to $36,700, with the average in 2024-25 of $23,186.
We extend our special gratitude to the families of the class of 2024 who made contributions to this fund through a a fifth grade legacy gift.
