MEN’S SEASON CLOSING GOLF EVENT
THANK YOU FOR AN OUTSTANDING MEN'S SEASON CLOSING GOLF EVENT!
As we wrap up another successful Men's Golf Season, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Culinary, Food & Beverage, Operations, and Golf teams for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork in making the Season Closing Event a memorable success. From the beautifully prepared course to the exceptional service and delicious food, every detail reflected your professionalism and commitment to excellence. Events like these don’t happen without coordination, long hours, and a passion for what you do. Your contributions continue to elevate our club experience, and we’re proud to have such a talented team behind it all.
ENGLISH CLASS GRADUATES We are thrilled to congratulate all our team members who have successfully completed their English classes! Over the past six months, during one of the busiest times of the year, these dedicated individuals made the time and put in the effort to improve their language skills—and now proudly graduate with an intermediate level of English. Your hard work, commitment, and perseverance are truly inspiring. Learning a new language while juggling demanding schedules is no small achievement, and we couldn’t be more proud of your accomplishment. Congratulations once again—you’ve set a great example for all of us!
CELEBRATING HERITAGE HONORING HISTORY
This May, we proudly celebrate both Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and Jewish American Heritage Month—two observances that recognize the vibrant cultures, rich histories, and enduring contributions of communities that have helped shape the American experience.
AANHPI Heritage Month highlights the diverse traditions and stories of over 50 ethnic groups from Asia, the Pacific Islands, and Native Hawaiian communities. From science and the arts to politics and public service, the AANHPI community has played a vital role in shaping our society. This month commemorates both the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants in 1843, and the major role Chinese laborers played in completing the transcontinental railroad in 1869. It’s a time to celebrate resilience, creativity, and community, while also recognizing the work that remains in addressing bias and inequality.
Jewish American Heritage Month honors the deep and enduring legacy of Jewish Americans who have contributed to the country’s cultural, intellectual, and civic life. From Nobel Prize-winning scientists and civil rights activists to artists, authors, and public servants, Jewish Americans have helped build the foundation of American progress. This month also serves as a reminder of the importance of combating antisemitism and fostering understanding across all backgrounds. It’s an opportunity to explore Jewish history, traditions, and the incredible stories of perseverance and community.

At Frenchman's Creek, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. Below are some safety tips to follow when working. SAFETY AT FRENCHMAN’S WEEKLY SAFETY TIP
FROM THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK
SICK LEAVE The sick leave program is a form of security for an employee who is unable to work because of illness or injury. Sick leave may not be used to increase paid vacation time or used if ill while on vacation. You must be a full-time employee and worked for three (3) months of continuous employment to be eligible for sick pay. Sick pay is accrued at the rate of .93 hours each weekly period totaling six (6) days leave per year. Sick leave can be used in increments of one hour or more for medical or dental appointments. Maximum accrual of sick time is thirty (30) days or two hundred forty (240) hours. Once you have reached the maximum accrual you will not accrue further sick time until you go below the maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours. Sick leave pay is not a benefit paid upon termination of employment. Sick leave may not always be granted. If you are eligible for workers’ compensation payments, sick payment will not be allowed. If you have worked 40 or more hours for one week and are still absent, sick leave pay will not be granted . You will be considered for sick leave with pay if you are absent for three (3) consecutive days or more. Upon your return you must furnish a physician’s statement setting forth the nature of the disability. There may be cases when a doctor’s note is requested for any absence. This will be left to the discretion of the supervisor or Human Resources.
