Some of our unique artisan experiences

Nuraghe of Su Nuraxi We go back thousands of years to the bronze age for an incredible experience – located in the little village of Barumini is the Su Nuraxi, UNESCO-listed megalithic towers left by an ancient civilisation. It is known as one of the most fascinating and best-preserved historical sites on the island. With a knowledgeable local guide, we go inside the breathtaking central tower and learn more about this ancient monument and the people that lived there.

Traditional bread making demonstration

Tenuta Olianas Organic Winery Situated in the heart of southern Sardinia’s beautiful landscape of rolling hills is the organic wine cellar of Tenuta Olianas. Set amongst 30 hectares of vineyards and open fields, the winery uses traditional methods to create delicious range of organic wines which are made in ceramic amphoras. We will enjoy a tour of the vineyard, wine- tasting and light lunch made with local produce.

The wonderful Su Gologone Experience Hotel ensures guests are surrounded with Sardinian traditions and cultural experiences for a truly authentic stay. The hotel’s Nest of Bread is where traditional dishes and bread are made in a wood-fired oven. Skilled chefs in traditional Sardinian costumes share their knowledge and techniques passed down through the generations. With mouthwatering aromas, this will be an unforgettable experience as you sip wine and watch local delicacies being made.
