In September 2018, Bobst Lyon will open its Com- petence Center at its Bron site near Lyon, France.The construction of this new 114-meter-long demonstra- tion facility, spanning 2,000 square meters, began in October 2017. For the first time, Bobst Lyon will have its own showroom dedicated entirely to its equipment. Cus- tomers will be able to come and learn about its full production lines in real operating conditions. Operating in the Lyon region since 1923, Bobst Lyon employs 750 people. Its packaging machines combine flexographic printing, die-cutting and in-line folding-gluing capabilities. Vectra Visual Achieves Sustainability Certification Vectra Visual of Columbus, Ohio has achieved Sus- tainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) certifica- tion. Vectra Visual specializes in providing point of purchase and marketing services for customer in the retail market such as fashion, restaurant, financial, consumer goods, communications, and non-profit. The company operates three facilities located in Ohio, New Jersey, and Oregon, Vectra Visual employs 400 people. The Sustainable Green Printing Partner- ship is a non-profit organization that certifies print- ing facilities’ sustainability best practices.
