Nov. 28 to Jan. 4: Holiday Light Spectacular at Marin Center Kick off the holiday season at Marin Center, 20 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael, with the dazzling Holiday Light Spectacular. Stroll twinkling pathways and enjoy thousands of sparkling lights, photo ops, craft making and festive treats. Attendees can check out a vintage fire truck, holiday craft stations, toy and food drives, and write a letter to the Future for Marin’s 175th Anniversary. This event is free so don’t miss out on the illuminated arches and more. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. daily, visit marincounty.gov for more event information.

Dec. 6: Wreath-Making Workshop Weekend at McEvoy Ranch Celebrate the season in McEvoy Ranch’s charming Greenhouse during this hands-on wreath- making workshop on Dec. 6. Craft your own holiday masterpiece with fresh, foraged greenery from the ranch gardens, then relax with a glass of wine and a boxed lunch on the Tasting Room Patio, 5935 Red Hill Road in Petaluma. There are reservations available at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are $185 per person or $157.25 for members and can be purchased on mcevoyranch.com .

Dec. 12: 2nd Friday Art Walk in Downtown San Rafael Experience an inspiring evening of art and community during San Rafael’s monthly 2nd Friday Art Walk on Dec. 12. Anchored by the Art Works Downtown, 1337 Fourth St. in San Rafael, explore galleries, open studios and exhibits. From 5 to 8 p.m. stroll through downtown, meet makers and enjoy the city’s growing arts scene. Visit artworksdowntown.org for participating venues and future Art Walk dates.

Ongoing: Food and Farm Tour: Flavors of Point Reyes Savor the best of West Marin on this guided culinary adventure through Point Reyes, beginning at the West Marin Culture Shop in Point Reyes Station. Held Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests will visit a renowned creamery, oyster farm, meadery and organic veggie farm while enjoying tastings and a locavore lunch. Reservations are required; minimum of four guests per tour. Tickets are $225 per person and can be purchased on foodandfarmtours.com .
