The Solid Waste Division is excited to announce the arrival of a new landfill compactor, designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability at the facility. The compactor arrived on three trucks—machine, cab, and blade—and this powerful piece of equipment has an operating weight of 52,700–54,900 kg (116,184–121,034 pounds) and delivers a maximum crushing force of 269 kN (60,474 pounds) .
