ILLEGAL DUMPING The Charlotte County Solid Waste Division continues its proactive program to enforce and prosecute illegal dumping throughout the county using current best management practices. The illegal dumping program has significantly reduced dumping and maintains vigilant efforts, resulting in 35 cases investigated and 13 felony arrests in FY25. Additionally, the team assists with cleanups of homeless camps across the county in cooperation with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
