IMPORTANT NOTES: • Free feeding, semen testing and delivery up to 250 miles from New Salem, ND, on all bulls purchased. • The bred heifers will need to be picked up within a couple of days after the sale due to their calving dates so close to the sale. If you are thinking about buying heifers, we encourage you to bring your trailer with you.

DIRECTIONS TO THE SALE LOCATION: From I-94 take Exit 127 (New Salem) and go South 1 mile, East ½ mile, South 5 miles following curve on pavement just South of town, then West ½ mile. Watch for signs! The sale facility has blue tin on the roof.
• All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions of the American Simmental Association. (Available upon request.) At no time shall Kunkel Simmentals be responsible for more that the purchase price of the animal. • We will be selling 100% possession and interest on all bulls & females sold. We reserve the right to collect 100 units of se- men on any of the bulls for in-herd use only. This will be done at the seller’s expense and the buyer’s convenience. Please contact me if you have any questions. • Announcements made from the auction block take precedence over printed material. • Kunkel Simmentals will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items or liable for any personal injury. • An Insurance Representative will be available on sale day. We strongly encourage the buyer’s to take insurance at least through the first breeding season. Full liability is assumed by the buyer when the gavel falls. Kunkel Simmentals is not responsible for injury or accidental death. If insurance is pur- chased at the sale and used sometime throughout the insur- ance policy period, Kunkel Simmentals will pay, in credit form, your premium at the following years sale. Proof of claim must be given to me right after it occurs no later than 1 week prior to the sale.

COLOR & POLLED GUIDE HOMOZYGOUS BLACK - All calves will be black if mated to a black or non-dilutor red cow. HETEROZYGOUS BLACK - If mated to a non-dilutor red cow ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red. HOMOZYGOUS POLLED - All calves will be polled. HETEROZYGOUS POLLED - If mated to a horned cow ½ of the calves will be polled and ½ will be horned. NON-DILUTOR - If mated to a heterozygous black cow, ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red. If mated to a homozygous black cow, all calves will be black. DILUTOR - If mated to black cow, you might get a grey calf.
• Come to the sale and register to win $500 credit. 2 credits will be drawn for a total of $1,000.
Applies to both bulls and bred heifers. MUST be present at the sale to win. Non transferable to others. Not valid on phone bids or online bidding through DVAuction. Must be used at the sale on February 6, 2026. When you register for a bidding number in the office sale day, . that number will be dropped into a hat. 2 lucky numbers will be drawn right before the sale.
