Day 6: Arenal Today, set off on an exciting river safari in an inflatable raft along the quiet Rio Peñas Blancas. Accompanied by an expert naturalist guide, travel through the abundant waterways. Day 7: Arenal - Monteverde In the morning, set off towards Monteverde, travelling along the banks of Lake Arenal for breathtaking views of the volcano. Day 8: Monteverde In the morning embark on an exciting unguided Hanging Bridges excursion for the best views of the treetop wildlife of Monteverde. Traverse a route of approximately three kilometres, crossing a combination of trails and hanging bridges which criss- cross the abundant ‘cloud forest’. Day 9: Monteverde Enjoy the day at your leisure, relaxing in the tranquil surroundings or exploring the diverse eco-system of this magical place. Day 10: Monteverde - Manuel Antonio Set off in the morning to Manuel Antonio, an area of protected coastal rainforest, known for its idyllic beaches and wildlife. Day 11: Manuel Antonio Today, embark on an exciting excursion into the Manuel Antonio National Park. Explore the pristine natural beauty of this national park famous throughout the world and full of exotic wildlife. Day 12: Manuel Antonio Spend the day at your leisure, relaxing on the idyllic undeveloped beaches and soaking up the laid-back atmosphere. Day 13: Manuel Antonio - San José Transfer back to the capital, to spend your last night in San José. Days 14-15: San José - UK Enjoy free time before transferring to the airport for your return flight home to the UK.
Day 5: Rio de Janeiro - Iguazu The morning is free before you take your flight to Iguazu Falls. On arrival in Iguazu, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will spend the night. Day 6: Iguazu - Argentinian Side Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, Iguazu National Park is home to incredible waterfalls with 275 jumps of water falling from an average height of 70 metres. On today’s tour you will explore the routes of the Upper Circuit, Lower Circuit and Devil’s Throat. Day 7: Iguazu - Buenos Aires This morning, cross back into Brazil to see this side of Iguazu National Park. Take in the amazing views of San Martin Island and three of the most impressive jumps of the falls before getting to a further viewpoint with a perfect view of the Devil’s Throat just 150 metres away. In the afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Days 8-9: Buenos Aires Today’s tour of the city starts in the historic Plaza de Mayo. From here you will see the Casa Rosada government palace and its famous balcony where Eva Peron used to address the people. Later you will reach the picturesque and colourful neighbourhood of La Boca with its famous street ‘Caminito’ After, head to the modern Palermo neighbourhood with its elegant residences. The next day in Buenos Aires is at your leisure. Days 10-11: Buenos Aires - UK Today you’ll transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home to the UK.

Day 1: UK - San José Fly to the capital of Costa Rica, San José, and transfer to your hotel. Day 2: San José - Tortuguero Set off early towards Tortuguero. Pass through the exuberant Braulio Carrillo National Park before finally arriving in Tortuguero and enjoy a fascinating tour. Day 3: Tortuguero This morning, enjoy a relaxing boat trip along the canals of Tortuguero, admiring the abundant flora and fauna. Day 4: Tortuguero - Guapiles - Arenal This morning, set off for the charming city of Guapiles. Afterwards, continue to La Fortuna, where the Arenal Volcano is located, one of the most important and spectacular in Costa Rica. Day 5: Arenal Spend a relaxing morning at your leisure. In the afternoon, meet your guide and embark on a guided hike to the Arenal Volcano.
Days 1-2: UK - Rio de Janeiro Fly overnight to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to settle in and relax. Day 3: Rio de Janeiro Spend the morning on a half day tour of the city including a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain, a natural peak situated on a peninsula at the mouth of a bay, and one of Rio’s most famous icons. Take a ride in a cable car to the 394 metre summit for breathtaking views over the surrounding beaches and bays including the well-known Copacabana Beach. Day 4: Rio de Janeiro This morning’s tour takes you to Corcovado Mountain in Tijuca Forest, site of the magnificent Christ the Redeemer statue. Considered to be the largest art deco statue in the world, the impressive figure standing 30 metres tall and arms stretching 28 metres wide, is a symbol of Brazilian Christianity overlooking the city.
