Reserve. Spend your second day exploring the town at leisure. Day 7: Arenal Walk along the base of an active volcano in Arenal National Park, before heading to the nearby hot springs to relax in mineral-rich water naturally heated by volcanic rocks. Days 8-9: Monteverde Learn about Costa Rican culture and indulge in home- grown coffee, then make your way to Monteverde and visit the Curi-Cancha Cloud Forest Reserve where you can spot armadillos, coatis, two-toed sloths and over 200 bird species. Day 10: Monteverde - Tárcoles Take in the beauty of Monteverde Orchid Garden, where you’ll be surrounded by more than 450 species of vibrant florals. Later, travel to Tárcoles for a crocodile safari. Day 11: Carara National Park Visit Carara National Park, populated by over 400 bird species, before an afternoon exploring the Pacific Coast at your leisure. Day 12: Manuel Antonio National Park - Dominical Trek through the Manuel Antonio National Park and immerse yourself in the native wildlife including sloths, monkeys and anteaters. Day 13: Corcovado National Park Take an exhilarating speedboat journey to Corcovado National Park, where you’ll venture on a morning hike within the rainforest in pursuit of spotting the native monkeys. Day 14: San Gerardo de Dota Head to the highlands and enjoy a trek through the rainforest trying to spot the magnificent quetzal. Days 15-16: San José - UK Make the most of your final moments in Costa Rica, venturing on a scenic trail in Mirador de Quetzales and visiting the hummingbird garden, before your return flight home.
Day 4: Lovran Enjoy a day exploring Lovran at leisure, making your way to the historic centre filled with rich architectural heritage. Take a visit to the 14th century Church of St George or relax on one of the stunning local beaches. Day 5: Pula - Rovinj Make your first stop in Pula where you can immerse yourself in history while discovering the Roman ruins and amphitheatre inhabiting this town. Enjoy a tour and tasting session at a local, family-owned winery, then travel to the popular resort of Rovinj before visiting a traditional farm where you can learn about olive oil production and enjoy a tasting. Days 6-7: Lovran Spend your next couple of days exploring everything that Lovran has to offer. You’ll have the option to travel further afield with an optional excursion to Ljubljana, exploring the majestic Ljubljana Castle and taking in the Slovenian-sights from the viewing tower. You’ll then enjoy free time to buy souvenirs or sample drinks in a local bar. On your last night, enjoy a farewell get-together with your group. Optional: Ljubljana, the Capital of Slovenia excursion Day 8: Lovran - UK Transfer back to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.

Day 1: UK - San José You’ll be collected from your home by a chauffeur service before boarding your flight to San José. Day 2: San José Explore the city of San José on a guided tour, making your way through the Plaza de la Democracia, the bustling central market, and National Opera House Theatre. Day 3: Tortuguero Head to the Tortuguero Canals, where you’ll spot sea turtles and crocodiles as you glide along the waterways. By afternoon, make your way by boat to Tortuguero village and visit the Turtle Preservation Centre. Day 4: Tortuguero National Park Enjoy a scenic cruise through the natural waterways of the Tortuguero Canals, spotting the many monkeys, toucans and green macaws that call this national park home. Days 5-6: Sarapiqui Journey by boat and coach to a lodge in Sarapiqui, with a guided night walk at La Tirimbina Biological
Day 1: UK - Lovran Arrive in Croatia where you’ll transfer to your hotel in the charming seaside town of Lovran. Spend some free time to settle in and get to know your surroundings before a welcome drink with your fellow travelling companions. Day 2: Opatija Today, you’ll visit the quaint, seaside resort of Opatija, where you can explore the Austro-Hungarian architecture of this stylish hub. Wander through the beautiful gardens, stroll along the coastal promenade and immerse yourself in the bustle of the local shops and cafès. Enjoy a chocolate-making demonstration and tasting session, before gathering for an evening dinner with your group. Day 3: Plitvice National Park Make your way to Croatia’s UNESCO-listed Plitvice National Park, a haven of greenery and cascading waterfalls. Marvel at the 16 beautiful lakes, venturing across bridges and paths that connect the reservoirs, before taking a relaxing boat trip across the largest lake in the park, Lake Kozjak. Look out for the local deer, wild boar and multiple species of birds.
