Day 5: Kibale National Park Discover the park on a forest trek, and an intriguing nature walk in the wetlands of Bigodi. Later, relax at the lodge or join a community walk to a local village. Day 6: Lake Mburo National Park Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, home to over 300 species of birdlife such as the flame head Barbet, long-tailed Zitting Cisticola and African Bins Rail. Later this evening, enjoy a night game drive. Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park Enjoy an early morning nature walk around Lake Mburo National Park before returning to the hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the lake, keeping your eyes peeled for the copious species of birds on the lake. Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Today transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the mountainous southwest corner of Uganda. Home to the endangered silverback gorillas, take the opportunity to learn about these remarkable creatures with a lecture from a Primatologist. Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park This morning, go gorilla trekking in search of the ‘gentle giants’ led by an experienced and informative ranger. Day 10: Entebbe - UK Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Day 8: Lobuche (4,910m) Head toward Lobuche, crossing the Khumbu Khola at Dughla before stopping for lunch near the terminal moraines of the Khumbu Glacier flowing from Everest. Follow the valley stream to reach your lodge at Lobuche in the afternoon. Day 9: Gorak Shep - Everest Base Camp (5,140m) From Lobuche, follow the broad valley beside the Khumbu Glacier at a slow, steady pace due to the altitude. After crossing the rocky moraine near the Changri Nup Glacier, continue to Gorak Shep, then make the final push to the iconic Everest Base Camp. Day 10: Kala Pattar - Pheriche (4,240m) Start early to hike to Kala Pattar for unforgettable sunrise views of Everest. The climb is steep and challenging at altitude, but the panorama makes it worthwhile before you begin your descent. Day 11: Tengboche (3,860m) Descend through the small settlements of Orsho and Shomare before passing Lower Pangboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery and the Sherpa Heritage Foundation museum before settling into your teahouse. Day 12: Chumo (2,860m) Continue descending through forests of juniper, rhododendron and fir. Cross the Dudh Kosi River and follow the trail toward Trashinga and Chumo. Day 13: Lukla (2,840m) Your final trekking day takes you back to Lukla via Benkar, passing through pine and rhododendron forest with views of Kusum Kangaru. Celebrate the completion of your trek with your crew. Days 14-15: Kathmandu Fly from Lukla back to Kathmandu for your final night. Spend your last day with the group reflecting on the trek and celebrating your achievement.

Day 1: UK - Entebbe - Kampala Fly from the UK to Uganda where your local guide will meet you. Transfer to Kampala for an overnight stay. Day 2: Kampala - Murchison Falls Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a private, non-profit sanctuary, which re-introduces the Southern White Rhinos to the wild, and is home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. Continue through rural scenery to Murchison Falls, the largest of Uganda’s National Parks. Day 3: Murchison Falls Today continue your exploration of Murchison Falls. On a game across its savannah grasslands, keep an eye out for its wild residents including lions, hyenas, elephants, and buffalo. As you reach the shore of Lake Albert, enjoy a boat ride along the Victoria Nile. Day 4: Kibale National Park Travel to Kibale National Park, recognised as one of Africa’s richest ecosystems, stopping en route at the welcoming town of Fort Portal. Visit a tea plantation, taking time to meet the pickers and learn how the tea is grown and harvested.
Day 1: UK - Kathmandu Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 2pm where you’ll meet your guide and fellow travellers. Day 2: Phakding (2,610m) Take an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After breakfast and a short safety briefing, begin trekking Trek to Namche Bazaar, where you’ll spend two nights acclimatising to the altitude. From Phakding, the trail climbs steadily up the valley through blue pine forest alongside the river. In spring, the route is especially beautiful with rhododendrons in bloom. You may even along the Dudh Kosi River to Phakding. Days 3-4: Namche Bazaar (3,440m) Continue to Phortse, a village many trekking groups bypass. Here you’ll gain insight into Sherpa life and culture in a quieter, more authentic setting. Days 6-7: Dingboche (4,410m) Climb above the treeline and trek to Dingboche. The village sits among small stone-walled fields in a catch your first glimpse of Everest. Day 5: Phortse Gaon (3,810m)
