Day 8: Kyoto - Kanazawa Travel by coach to Kanazawa where you’ll visit the beautiful Kenroku-en Garden (one of the ‘Three Great Gardens’) and a historic samurai house. Days 9-10: Kanazawa - Shirakawago & Takayama Learn the art of making washi paper by hand, before reaching the rural splendour of Shirakawago, famous for its authentic gassho-style houses and beautiful surroundings. Day 11: Takayama - Nagano Enjoy two full days in Tokyo soaking up all there is to see. Start your explorations at the Imperial Palace East Garden before stopping by the famous Shibuya Crossing. Stroll the vibrant Asakusa district and soak up the ambience of Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple. See the city from the observation deck of the 634-metre Skytree and end your tour with a dinner cruise on a traditional yakata boat on Tokyo Bay. Day 2: Lake Garda Enjoy an introduction to Lake Garda by exploring a selection of its lakeside villages, taking in the clean mountain air and natural beauty. Today you’ll tour the lake, passing through the charming, typically Italian villages and tiny harbours nestled along the shoreline. Day 3: The Dolomites Venture to the stunning Dolomite Mountains, a natural landmark formed by geological activity around 230 million years ago, resulting in their distinctive pink and lime hues. Take in the lush pastures, towering pine forests and picturesque houses resembling Swiss and Austrian-style chalets. Day 4: Lake Garda Enjoy a free day to explore Riva del Garda and Lake Garda at your leisure.

Days 6-7: Hiroshima - Kyoto neighbouring Koko-en garden. Day 5: Hiroshima & Miyajima Arrive in Kyoto via iconic bullet train and explore the city’s main highlights, such as the Golden Pavilion and Fushimi Inari Shrine.
