Silicone Suction and Delivery Hose
Silicone braided, wire reinforced hose is Mandrel built using a FDA compliant platinum cure silicone elastomer. The number of plies reinforcing the hose varies with the hose bore and pressure rating required. Plies are knitted polyester cloth impregnated with silicone. The bore of the hose is perfectly smooth for clear flow. The outer of the hose is available smooth or for extra flexibility convoluted. All hygienic industry standard fitting can be swaged to the hose. Ideally suited to the food and pharmaceutical industry. Cold Bend: – -45ºC Vacuum: – 5 70mm Hg = 75% at +20ºC Applications: – D elivery and light suction of water, slurry, chemicals, some granules, sewage and other waste matter. Particularly suitable for the horticultural and marine industries. Pressures: – V alues given are based on the short term burst pressure of the hose at +20ºC based on a 3:1 safety factor. T1716-EP VIBROFLEX/16 Mandrel built hot water suction and delivery hose, suitable also for acid and basic solutions. It can be used in steam and heat pumps. Tube: Black smooth EPDM rubber, resistant to heat. Reinforcement: High tensile textile plies, embedded steel wire helix.

Chemical Resistance: – R esistant to most oxidising and
reducing agents and diluted acids and alkalis. For more detailed information please contact Technical Sales. Note: – A ny increase in temperature above +20ºC will result in a decline in working pressure values. Working Temperature: – -15ºC to +65ºC

Cover: Black, smooth EPDM rubber, resistant to abrasion, ozone, weather and heat. Fabric impression. Temperature: - 40 °C + 120 °C Marking: Thor Hot Water +120°C WP 16 Bar (red letters)
