Group to Fully Map Paths to the Highlands Scientists, researchers set o to accomplish “fool’s dream”
An expedition of 93 professors, analysts and researchers will soon launch the world’s most comprehensive e ort to map the highlands. e group will work in small teams; each will document its unique means of travel. Some will begin their journey upward from the gangly Stem Forest, and others, over yonder in the vast foothills of Stepopholus. “Aer the terraced twilight elds, most of the paths con- join,” said Harold White, an Expert in Highland Cartogra- phy, “Many of us are familiar with the old legends that describe breaking through the cloudy fog of the timberline, where the road becomes a divine red brick path, guiding the thrilling ascent up to that golden gate, perched over wax waterfalls, through which the smell of the crystalline lake lls the senses. e stories are true. ”
Only those who steam-roll via the vortex of hidden caves, or y on the grin, will expedite the otherwise gradual climb. “Once we all reach the castle on the lake, we’ll compare data, in order to co-produce the most highly-accurate mapping of the alpine region,” said White.
A team will inevitably also end their tour following a journey into the endless horizon of Resin Desert, spending but as much time as bravery permits. While the volunteers are aware the path will never really reach the highlands, they’re eager to nd out just how high it can go.
