Scott, VP of Landscape Architecture at Denton House, is a Professional Landscape Architect and environmental planner with 30 years of experience. He has led over 150 large-scale projects globally, specializing in parks, trails, and open spaces. His expertise includes site analysis, urban design, theming, wayfinding, and construction documentation. Scott excels in interdisciplinary collaboration and integrating public input into design.

Katie a residential interior designer, expertly oversees projects from concept to completion. Specializing in creative problem-solving, she collaborates with clients to craft innovative, tailored designs. With a BFA in Design, Drawing, and Intermedia from USC and an Interior Design degree from Interior Designers Institute, she blends artistic vision with technical expertise to deliver exceptional results across various project types and scales.

At this stage, additional systems and material detail are added to the design package. Drawings are rich with dimensions, finishes, fixtures, and details to develop the design intent in preparation for construction. Our team begins coordination with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and pool engineers to ensure all aspects of the design align seamlessly. Deliverables: • Refined site and floor plans • Refined building sections & elevations • Interior elevations • Reflected ceiling, lighting & electrical plans • Coordination with engineering consultants

We manage the bidding process by distributing documents, compiling and comparing contractor proposals, and coordinating interviews to help you select the best team. To expedite the process, bidding often overlaps with Construction Documentation, ensuring construction can begin promptly once permits are secured. Deliverables: • Distribution of bidding documents • Review and comparison of contractor proposals • Summary of bids for owner review and contractor selection

With the design finalized, we prepare comprehensive construction documents, including detailed drawings, notes, and technical specifications. Yellowstone Club BIG SKY. MONTANA

This custom remodeled chalet in Big Sky, Montana, seamlessly merges contemporary design with mountain heritage, transforming the home while honoring its original character. Re-imagined to balance the rustic charm of the Yellowstone Club with a bold, modern perspective, the design integrates timeless mountain elements with refined, contemporary details. Key architectural features were carefully preserved and enhanced, creating a sophisticated contrast between rustic tradition and modern elegance. Thoughtful craftsmanship and personalized touches ensure that every space in the home feels intentional and distinctive. Designed for both adventure and relaxation, this ski-in/ski-out retreat combines high functionality with meaningful details.

Deer Valley PARK CITY, UT

At the exclusive ski-only resort of Deer Valley in the Wasatch Range, the renovation of this single family, two-decade old home transformed it from a rustic chalet to a cosmopolitan mountain estate. Denton House worked closely with the homeowners to modernize the home – removing heavy log trusses and replacing with cleaner exposed timber bracing, adding windows and vaulting ceilings where possible to increase natural lighting, and refining interior finishes and lighting – to create a feeling of openness and grandeur while maintaining a relaxed vibe for family and friends. An updated kitchen and dining room was a must for the homeowners, who love to cook and host gatherings, as was a completely remodeled game room and bar. A new exterior patio with a jacuzzi was designed outside the ski lounge to allow for year- round indoor-outdoor living.

Casa En Las Rocas LOS CABOS, MEXICO

For a travel-loving family who considers Cabo their second home, the Denton House team designed this dream oasis on a double lot in the heart of the El Dorado community. With a name befitting a particularly rocky shelf the home is sited on, “House on the Rocks” incorporates the rose-tinted granite throughout the design, allowing it to accent spaces and ground the home to the location. A grand two-story courtyard with floating staircases and water mirrors flank each end. Entertainment, living, and private spaces encircle the courtyard on both levels - notable amenities include a walk-in conditioned wine gallery, media and billiards room, and a double-sided fireplace serving both interior and exterior living rooms. Custom finishes and interior features carry throughout each room, inspired by local Mexican artisans and international elements gathered over the years by the travelling couple - no design detail was overlooked.

CostaTerra COMPORTA, PORTUGAL

The architectural vernacular pulls from the local Alentejo style combining old-world details with a modern twist appropriate for luxury resort living. Expansive glass mixed with locally harvested woods and stones create the material palette blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior living, paying tribute to the majestic ocean and landscape views.
