Base Cabinets

Installing L-Fillers L-fillers are commonly used to span the distance between the back of a base cabinet and the wall. This filler can hide plumbing and other service items. Steps: 1. Fasten the slip joint to the wall using wall anchors and screws as required. 2. Slide the L-filler into the slip joint (friction fit). 3. Use # 8 sheet metal screws to attach the front return edge of the L-filler to the rear edge of the base cabinet. Elongated holes in the rear flanges of the base cabinet are provided near the top and bottom for this purpose.
