Apron Installation Apron units must be secured to adjoining base cabinets or walls if legs are not used. To secure an apron, remove the drawer and install fasteners (e.g., sheet metal screws, bolts) through the inside of the apron (on the sides) into the adjoining cabinetry or walls. Ensure that the top of the apron is level with the tops of the adjoining base cabinets. After the apron has been secured, reinstall the drawer.
