SHOULDER PAIN? YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

If you suffer from shoulder pain, you are joined by at least 13.7 million others, according to statistics from 2003. That makes it the third most common cause of musculoskeletal disorders. And 21% of people aged 70 and older suffer from shoulder pain that can be attributed to the rotator cuff. Rotator Cuff Syndrome (RCS) is defined as an inflammatory degenerative disorder of the musculotendinous cuff of the shoulder joint, or the long head of the biceps and the associated bursae. Symptoms include pain, weakness and loss of motion.
