It has taken a long time to get where we are and, make no mis- take, vestiges of the old boy’s net - work still exist. People who were in commercial real estate investing fifty years ago were predominant - ly male and many are at the top of
their profession now. But age and experience are less of an advan - tage when fast-moving technology is gaining such an impact on real estate investing. The changeover to a more inclusive cadre of investors has already happened.
