nvision it’s the 1950s and everyone has either greased hair or is wearing poodle skirts. One of my recent REI projects, a charming cottage I call The Pink Lady, takes guests back in time with nostalgic fifties vibes. Located in the heart of the Columbus, GA historic district, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom house listed on Airbnb has guests rockin’ and rollin’ in the Grease- themed rooms. When I first laid eyes on this shab - E
by-classic home, I immediately had a vision for where I could take it. Originally flaunting a faded mauve paint color, I chose a classic shade of pink called Memorable Rose. One of my favorite things to do is restore these beautiful historic homes, then name and theme each I decorate and design. It came about so easily from my great love of the movie Grease.
