Cyrus Hall McCormick redesigns a harvester model previously studied by his father, and later patents it in 1834. 1831 McCormick launches a factory located in Chicago to produce 500 machines for the 1848 harvest. 1847 Financier J.P. Morgan merges both McCormick and Deering, giving rise to International Harvester Company (IH). 1902 Debut of the first 10 to 20 hp tractors. IH purchases a site in Doncaster, which later becomes the McCormick HQ. 1906 - 1915 Tractor production begins. The first McCormick Farmall M and FC models rolls o the production line. 1949 - 1951

The Xtractor docu-reality show project is launched, where McCormick tractors travel over 8,000km across Australia. 2015 The McCormick X6.4 VT-Drive is developed and crowned as 2018 Tractor of the Year in the Best Utility category. 2017 McCormick rearms its development pathway by oering a comprehensive range of 60 to 310 hp tractors. 2021 The McCormick X6.414 P6-Drive is recognised as 2023 Tractor of the Year in the Best Utility category. 2022 The McCormick X5.120 P3-Drive is awarded 2024 Tractor of the Year in the Best Utility category. 2023

The start of a new era. The X7 series with a ZF gearbox and continuously variable transmission makes its debut. 2013 All production activities are centralised within the modern and innovative Argo Tractors facilities. 2010 The MC115, MTX 110 to 185 hp models, and the MTX 200 model roll o the production line. 2002 Argo Tractors purchases the McCormick brand & production to later launch McCormick Tractors International Ltd. 2000 - 2001 Tractors launch worldwide, with first models equipped with synchronised and hydrostatic transmissions. 1970
