Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Oberammergau & Ettal Abbey OR Free Time in Oberammergau This morning, we enjoy free time in Oberammergau with a 1-hour guided tour of the famous Passion Play Theatre . This afternoon, we visit Ettal Abbey to see its mighty Basilica & the magnificent Rococo vestry. OR free time at the hotel if driver’s day off is required. Day 3 Garmisch and the Zugspitze Today we visit Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze. We stop at Zugspitze plateau for lunch, then take the Gletscherbahn cable car to the top station. Next we take the cable car down to Lake Eibsee & return to Garmisch for some free time. Day 4 Bavarian Castles and Carriages Today we enjoy a 1-hour guided tour of Schwangau village by horse and carriage. Then we have free time in Hohenschwangau followed by a visit to Hohenschwangau Castle. NB: group entrance to Hohenschwangau Castle in winter is not confirmed. If it is not possible, free time will be spent in the nearby town of Fussen . Day 5 Departure Winter on Lake Achensee and Wildschönau Valley Based at our hotel on the shores of Lake Achensee, we can enjoy the glittering sights of the lake, glassware, crystals and the beautiful Wildschonau Valley.

This morning, we take a guided tour of Würzburg . Afterwards, we visit the majestic Julisspital Winery for a guided tour and tasting . We return to our hotel for dinner followed by a tasting of five wines. Day 3 Nuremberg We explore Nuremberg ’s old town with a 90-minute guided tour . This afternoon, we visit an old Franconian family brewery including beer tasting . Day 4 Ebracher Forest Today, we visit the stunning Ebracher Forest for a 1km stroll along a treetop walk to see the beautiful wildlife of the region and amazing views beyond. We have free time for lunch. After dinner, we will enjoy some live entertainment from a local accordion player. Day 5 Departure

Day 4 Husky Farm & Treetop Walk A guided tour of a husky farm followed by hot drinks awaits this morning, before we enjoy a guided walk to the top of the Bavarian Forest at the amazing Treetop Walk attraction.
