USA MEN’S WORLD CUP QUALIFYING NOVEMBER 2025 RESULTS

MANAGUA, NICARAGUA & COLLEGE PARK, GA • NOV. 28-DEC. 1, 2025

The United States went 2-0 in the first round of qualifying for the 2027 FIBA Men’s World Cup, beating Nicaragua (102-67) in Managua, Nicara- gua, and then beating them 123-93 in College Park, Georgia. In the opener in Managua, the USA took a 59-39 lead in the first half with MarJon Beauchamp scoring 15 of the Americans’ first 22 points in the game. The U.S. had control from there, winning 102-67. Beauchamp scored 24 in the game, Brandon Knight had 14 points and five assists, and Kyle Guy contributed 11 points with two 3-pointers made. In game two in College Park, the Americans led 60-46 at the half, but the lead ballooned to 71-49 after Beauchamp buried three straight 3-pointers to open the second half. The U.S. led by as many as 33 points and went on to win with ease 123-93. Beauchamp went 5-of-8 from beyond the arc, making him the first American since Langston Galloway on Feb. 26, 2023, to make five 3-pointers in a USA Men’s World Cup Qualifying game. Knight finished with 12 assists to go along with 16 points, while Kessler Edwards added 14 points and Jaden Shackelford 11. The USA set a record across two games in the window, scoring 225 points (112.5 ppg), 25 more than the August 2022 squad, which scored 200 points in a pair of contests. The 123 points in College Park were the most points in a USA World Cup Qualifying game since the U.S. scored 114 in Uruguay in September 2018. Among all players in the Americas Qualifiers, Beauchamp ranked second in scoring, averaging 25.0 points per game, while his two-game total of 50 points marked the most by any player in a two-game USA World Cup Qualifying window dating back to 2019. He also led the squad with nine made 3-pointers, shooting an impressive 64.3% from beyond the arc, and finished shooting 69.2% from the field overall. Knight was third among all players in assists per game with 8.5 and fifth in field goal percentage at 64.7%. Torrey Craig had the most blocks across two games with four total.
