OUR PURPOSE, OUR VISION OUR STRATEGIC ARTICULATION MAP PROCESS
Starting in July 2021, Summerhill Neighborhood Development Corporation convenes its board and staff to launch a process to develop its strategic plan.
Facilitated by Your Crescendo, we hosted a number of SOAR focus groups (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) with different stakeholders groups including Board, Staff, Residents and Businesses. We also capture Net Promoter Score survey responses from 41 residents. From there, a task group huddled for a series of day-long retreats to review what we learned from our stakeholders, dream together and cast visions, translate those visions into headline indicators and critical initiatives. In the process, we built camaraderie across generations, across race and across neighbors new and old - and agreed on a strategic plan and priorities. The product of these sessions follows on the next pages and will serve as the blueprint for the neighborhood and community of Summerhill - the sunrise of Atlanta.
