Throughout the school year, we will spotlight staff and students who inspire our community through their leadership, creativity, and commitment. These stories remind us that building community means celebrating the contributions of both learners and educators across Edison Township Public Schools. In this issue, we are proud to celebrate Middlesex County Teacher of the Year Pamela Eng and the contributions of our inaugural cohort of student Communications Interns.
Middlesex County Teacher of the Year! Ms.Pamela Eng Edison Township Public Schools proudly celebrates Ms. Pamela Eng, Third Grade Teacher at Lincoln

Since beginning her career at Lincoln in 2015, she has inspired students through engaging instruction, hands-on STEM projects, and schoolwide literacy events, while also leading community service initiatives that support families and promote literacy. Her belief in inclusive, transformative education ensures every child feels valued and connected. The Inaugural Cohort of Summer Comms Interns!
This summer, in addition to our established and successful technology and facilities high school intern programs, the district also welcomed an inaugural cohort
of summer interns to work under the guidance of the district’s Director of Communications and Policy, Heather Daniel. A group of rising sophomores through seniors worked on a variety of projects tailored to their talents and abilities. For example, students interested in web development supported website migrations and helped manage the district website. Likewise, students interested in graphic design contributed to logo design, branding, video production, and social media projects. Students did not just stick to their talents — they were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, creating a dynamic environment that balanced skill- building with new challenges. — Written by Diya Mehta, Communications Intern
