Bullock Texas State History Museum
The Bullock Texas State History Museum—often called the Bob Bullock Museum is named in honor of Bob Bullock, the 38th Lieutenant Governor of Texas, who championed the creation of a state history museum. Having opened in 2001 and operated by the Texas State Preservation Board, the Bullock Texas State History Museum is the official history museum of the state. Its mission is to interpret the “Story of Texas” through immersive, engaging educational experiences, showcasing artifacts, culture, and innovations.
