MAINTENANCE OF THE BUBBLE TUBE DO NOT USE any premoistened wipes, disinfecting sprays or any alcohol, ammonia or bleach based cleaners on the Bubble Tube. This will deteriorate the acrylic and result in spider cracks which will cause leaks in the Bubble Tube. A quart of Disinfecting Cleaning Spray (9BCC) is included with every Vecta.
TFH USA recommends that you use Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer before touching our Bubble Tubes. Any of the alcohol-based hand sanitizers will transfer that alcohol to the Tube resulting in spider cracks and leaks.
Regular maintenance of the TFH Bubble Tube includes… MONTHLY: Add anti-algae solution to the bubble tube water. Add 2 oz. of diluted or a few drops of concentrated anti-algae preventer to water. EVERY THREE MONTHS: Empty the entire contents of the bubble tube with the DRAINAGE PUMP (sold separately - 9BCPUMP) every three months. Remember to add an extra two ounces of anti-algae solution every time you change the DISTILLED water in your Bubble Tube. CLEAN INSIDE OF BUBBLE TUBE: Empty entire contents of the bubble tube with Drainage Pump. Add a couple inches of DISTILLED water and a drop or two of Dawn dishwashing detergent to the inside. Use a dedicated microfiber mop to clean the inside of the Tube. Rinse thoroughly several times with distilled water to remove all soap residue. CLEAN OUTSIDE OF BUBBLE TUBE: Recommended EXTERIOR disinfectant: DISINFECTING CLEANING SPRAY (included-9BCC) or DISINFECTING WIPES (9BCCW). This is a hospital-grade disinfectant that has been tested on our bubble Tubes and will not crack the acrylic. REFILL BUBBLE TUBE: While Bubble Tube is running, fill Tube with DISTILLED water . Adding tap water, even a small amount, will contaminate the Bubble Tube and greatly increase the chance of algae growth.

Keep extra DISTILLED water on hand to replenish when water evaporates (naturally occurring). If water is 2- 3” below “FILL LINE” check base for leaks and call us immediately and do not turn off Bubble Tube.
