Welcome to our annual online bull sale!
What an exciting time to be in the cattle business! It’s so nice to see these market reports week after week watching everyone get rewarded for all their hard work throughout the year. I want to thank everyone for their support and business in the past and look forward to meeting any potential newcomers. If you have any questions about the offering, feel free to give me a call or text. The sale will be conducted in the same manner as years past. If you have questions on that, feel free to reach out to me or to DVAuction and we’d be happy to assist. The cattle are as honest as you’ll find. What you see is what you get. This place can feel a lot like Siberia at times and there’s no special treatment here. The cow herd gets ran pretty hard through the winter. They have to raise a good calf, breed back and do it year in and year out – or they will find their way to the sale barn. I cull on these things probably a little too hard, but I am darn sure proud of the set of cows that stand behind these bulls. Maternal value is absolutely not a convenience trait. It is essential to anybody that owns a set of cows. These things have a lot of obligations to fulfill or they’re no good to anybody. Udder quality, mother- ing ability, disposition, fertility, and performance. I do my best every year to keep adding value to this set of cows and try and bring in a better set of calves for you to evaluate.
The bulls have been handled the same as years past. Developed with their futures in mind. If you have trouble with a bull, they are fully guaranteed. Please just let me know about it and it we will get it taken care of.
