**Employee is directed by the employee’s manager to leave early due to unacceptable actions that are not in line with the Company standards of conduct. These infractions may include, but are not limited to, substance abuse, fighting or threatening violence in the workplace, insubordination or other disrespectful conduct. • SPC – 0 Points Employee is directed by the employee’s manager to leave early due to illness or unforeseeable circumstance which interferes with an employee’s ability to perform their job. • WKS – 0 Points Discipline Progressive discipline will be instituted to ensure employees understand the objectives of the attendance policy and the consequences of unacceptable performance. Employees will be subject to progressive discipline as follows: Employee is allowed by the employee’s manager to leave early due to a work shortage.

Tardy

• STL – ½ Point Employee reports for work

within one hour of the start of the employee’s scheduled shift, without pre-approved personal time. • SVL – 1 Point Employee reports to work later than one hour after the start of the employee’s scheduled shift without pre-approved personal time.

Tardy from Meal Break Meal break is limited to 30-minutes unless otherwise stipulated. • LTL – ½ Point

Employee reports back from the employee’s scheduled meal break 1 minute to 30 minutes after the scheduled end of the employee’s meal break, without pre-approved personal time. • VLL – 1 Point Employee reports back from the employee’s scheduled meal break more than 30 minutes after the scheduled end of the employee’s meal break, without pre-approved personal time off. Early Dismissal An employee will not be assessed points for Early Dismissal if the employee is directed to leave by the employee’s manager due to illness, accident or work shortages or if the employee has pre-approved personal time. Every absence, tardy or early quit will be documented and will be considered for the purpose of policy. • QTE – ½ Point Employee has unforeseen personal or family emergency conditions which necessitate the employee requesting permission to leave prior to the end of the employee’s scheduled shift, without pre-approved personal time. • QVE** – 2 Points Employee does not report back from lunch break or leaves more than 1 hour early without pre-approved personal time off.

Termination (Conference/Review)

A termination conference may be conducted prior to the termination of an employee. • The purpose of the conference is to review the employee’s performance and attendance record. • The conference provides an opportunity to assess any extenuating circumstances that may warrant the continuation of the employee’s employment. • The goal is to ensure that all relevant information is considered before a final termination decision is made.
